Summer in 16th Street Heights is a golden opportunity to enjoy all the advantages of having Rock Creek Park at our doorstep. With over 17,000 acres, it is one of the largest urban parks in the world. Facilities include picnic areas, walking and bike trails, playing fields, stables, a nature center, a golf course, and the Carter Barron Amphitheatre. Best of all, use of the facilities is either free or low cost.

Soccer matches go every evening and all weekend until it is too dark to see the ball. Tennis matches have no such restriction because the courts are floodlit.

The Rock Creek Tennis Center provides clay courts all year and hosts the Legg Mason Tennis Classic. There are fees for court use and attendance for the Tennis Classic.

All in all, we enjoy the benefits of a country club without the stiff fees and entrance requirements. We hope we'll see you there!
